Mother Nature

The boat went down
The rest have died
Only four men are alive
The Capitan wounded
Rest exhausted
Keep on rowing through the storm
There is hope just up ahead
Was it abandoned long ago?
The waves want us to drown
The birds are laughing at us now
Tiring further into night
Nothing to go by wrong or right
While other three sleep the night away
One man awake must stay
The water invades our only hope
The shore in sight but no help to find
The waves won’t let us reach the shore
One man running waving hard
His coat up high in still the storm
Look now here comes more
The boat is gone
We have to swim
Each man look out for only him
Three men alive
And one man drown
In the water he lies face down
Shame, for he the hardest worked
Mother Nature doesn’t care
